Firing Line
I saved you from the firing line so many times before.
But now I think I want to.... go through with this for sure.
Finger above the delete key, oblivion awaits.
But what will become of you when you pass on
through the golden gates?
Banished from existence? Shattered into dust?
Will you live on in eternity? In a harbor of loving trust?
This stupid obsession of mine, has got so out of hand.
For too long I've been flying blind, and I think it's time to land.
Out there in the rain, hoping someone would notice
that it's me that needs to be saved.
